The Faculty of college of Science at Babylon University founded in 1988 by three departments with scientific approach which are(life sciences, chemistry and physics) and then opened the Computer Science Dept. in (1991) and the Department of Applied Geoscience (2007) the overall results shown four years later
after the graduation of the first group of young people, and what strength the college progress were allowing them to complete their higher education by openning Master of science degree of the four sections, respectively, followed by sections of the PhD study of life sciences and chemistry, computer science and reflect that in the near future, God willing, to resume the opening of the study for a doctorate in applied Geoscience.
The main goal of both is to preserve and develop the scientific progress a way that suits the needs of our people of the science at this stage in order to promote together for the construction of our beloved Iraq and offering development to keep pace with the world as long as the tap of Sciences since time immemorial.
